Underwater World Tickets Sunshine Coast UnderWater World at Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is QLD's largest oceanarium and aquarium. You will come face to face with sharks, rays and other amazing creatures as you surround yourself in the beauty of thousands of coral fish in our 2.5 million litre oceanarium.

Be enchanted by seals as they show off on our famous seal show. At UnderWater World you will be enticed by over 5,500 weird and wonderful sea creatures and enjoy over 14 tours, talks and feeds daily. SHARK TUNNEL UPGRADE: We are excited to announce that the shark tunnel is currently undergoing a significant upgrade and will be closed to the public while works are completed. Opening times

UnderWater World is open daily from 9am to 5pm, Anzac Day from 1.30pm to 5.30pm and Closed Christmas Day. Last admissions are 1 hour prior to closing time.

Location

Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba QLD 4557 You can get to UnderWater World by car, train or bus.

By Car If you are coming from Brisbane simply follow the Bruce Highway north and take the Moooloolaba exit after the Ettamogah Pub, then simply follow the signs to Mooloolaba.

If you are coming from Gympie follow the Bruce Highway south and exit at the Maroochydore exit. Follow the signs onto the Sunshine Motorway. Exit at the Mooloolaba exit and follow the brown signs to UnderWater World.

Additional Information

Free parking is available at UnderWater World. However during holiday times parking may be limited.

UnderWater World is completely undercover so even if it is raining you can still have a fantastic time! We are also completely air conditioned so UnderWater World is the perfect place to visit when it’s hot.

You can take part in a number of additional experiences at UnderWater World. These experiences include seal kisses, seal encounters, seal swims, behind the scenes tours and otter encounters!

“What better a way to see a big jawed sea giant then…from the other side of the glass. Underwater world was fantastic and I enjoyed being able to see all the creatures of the deep sea without being in danger. Jamie loved all the colourful marine fish and wished his tank at home looked this good! I loved having a big fishy smooch planted on my cheek by the gorgeous seals and even better yet was being able to swim with them in their enclosure. If you can get past the cold water temperature you will love playing around with the seals in their own environment. They were so friendly I wanted to take one home with me!”
